One of the wonderful features of the LibSyn Blog interface is you can make it as simple, or as complex as you would like. To make changes to your libsyn blog page, login to the libsyn dashboard at https://www.libsyn.com and click the "settings" tab. Then click "advanced" and scroll to the bottom of the page. Here you will find a text box containing the HTML code for your blog page. In addition to HTML code, you will see some [[blog_modules]], which can be used to easily insert pre-fabricated elements of your page, like your [[blog_pane]] which displays your posts, or [[syndication]] which displays your RSS link. We suggest you copy this code and paste it into a text editor for easier editing. To make changes you will need to know a little bit of HTML. A decent article for beginners can be found at http://webmonkey.wired.com/webmonkey/teachingtool/ It is recommended to cut and paste the content that is already there to a seperate file in your text editor so you can undo everything. Also using an external editor you can make a change, cut and paste it into the Libsyn Advanced page, and save and refresh your blog in another window to see how your results went. Another option is if you would like to reset your page to the default, you can click the "settings" tab and then "templates." Here you will see a list of the available templates for libsyn blog pages. To apply a template, just click the link for the template you would like, and it will be applied to your page. Keep in mind that this will wipe out any and all changes you've made, so use this as a last result if you have a heavily edited blog page. Libsyn offers a number of pre-defined tags that are surrounded by [[ and ]]: * [[blog_pane]] * [[categories]] * [[archives]] * [[calendar]] * [[search]] * [[syndication]] For further explanation, see [[blog_modules]].
