Libsyn Dashboard

The dashboard is essentially made up of five buttons

Publish | Media Files | Settings | Stats | Account

- Will take you through to your Publishing tools. You can either click 'New Post' to make a new post (this is the default view) or you can click 'Previous Posts' to view the list of all of your previous shows. If you click the Previous Posts button, you can click the title of any post in this list to go in and edit the post. If using the 'New Post' buttong, you can make either a Podcast Episode or a Text Blog Post. The difference between the two is that a Podcast Episode has a Podcast Media File enclosed in the episode.

By clicking the Media Tab you'll be able to Upload files and manage your current and archived media.

Clicking the file name in the right portion of the screen will bring up a “File Info” box on the lefthand side of the page. In this box you'll be able to 'direct download' the file (right click + copy link location to copy the file's url).

You can see the file's size, type, and upload date. Clicking the 'enclosure' link will bring up a box containing the enclosure tag for this file if you wish to publish your files on external blogs/feeds and need the enclosure to do so.

Currently our ID3 tag editor isn't really working. I would suggest using iTunes to add images and ID3 info before uploading to Libsyn (see this post for more info)
